Signature Events
LLC Orientation
Welcome to Texas State! Members of LLCs will attend their first meeting as a cohort during their orientation session in the fall. This provides the chance to meet other students participating in a variety of LLC's across campus, and meet faculty and staff that will be there to help you during your time on-campus.
Field Day
Each fall one of LLC's favorite programs is field day. Residents of each LLC come together to compete in a variety of team activities and cheer on their team!
Medallion Ceremony
LLC participants are encouraged to attend events through their time in the program, each spring those who are active participants are given the opportunity to commemorate their accomplishments at the medallion ceremony.
To qualify for the medallion, participants must attend 3 faculty-led events and 4 community engagement events per semester, totaling 14 events across both semesters.
Ice Cream Social
Enjoy a sweet treat with friends to kick off the semester! The ice cream social brings all LLC members together to enjoy an afternoon of socializing, treats, and activities.
Activities Board
The LLC Activities Board is a student-led group with representatives from each LLC to ensure broad input. Members gain hands-on leadership experience by collaborating to plan, create, and execute large-scale LLC events, such as themed workshops, guest speaker series, or community-wide socials.
