Sanctuary Lofts
The Sanctuary Lofts are an upper-division apartment building located directly adjacent to campus, conveniently close to the Department of Housing and Residential Life central office. Each apartment includes a private bedroom, with shared kitchen, laundry and living areas.
All bed spaces are contracted individually.

This on-campus upper-division housing provides students with the opportunity to live on campus beyond their first year. With 10-month leases and the option to extend through summer, this provides flexibility to all residents.

How can I live on-campus for my second year?
Students will be able to enter a housing lottery for available housing for their second year and beyond.
Students will be able to sign up for the housing lottery as well as their preferred roommate (if applicable) by logging into the Housing Portal.
Lottery sign-up will be available beginning at 10 a.m. on February 5, 2024, and end at 4 p.m. on February 8, 2024.

Why a 10-month contract?
A 10-month housing contract allows you the financial freedom to to go home for the summer, or pursue that dream internship!
With a 10-month housing contract, you have the flexibility to apply for a 2-month extension to finish out the summer on-campus.

How do I pay my bill?
Texas State students will pay their bill via the student business services payment portal.

Am I required to have a meal plan?
Students living at apartments are not required to have a meal plan, but can still choose one.

What safety features do the apartments offer?
The main door utilizes the same key for each resident residing in that apartment. Individual bedrooms have a separate key to access the room.
You may not change / rekey the locks.
Staff are on-call 24/7 for any concerns and can be contacted by contacting the number at the front desk of the apartment complex.
